Recommended WWII Movies
WWII Era Films (made between 1940-1950)
Due to their war time or immediate post war production, these movies are almost always tainted by propaganda, but great movies, never the less. On the plus side, the sets / costumes are typically more accurate, due to the number of people who were actually working for the war department in Hollywood at the time.

The historical accuracy is sometimes questionable, but great inspiration and sometimes introduction to lesser known parts of the war
WWII movies for kids (and kids of all ages)
The original Superman cartoons with his defense of the nation, as well as the Disney Vault releases of the previously "blacklisted" cartoons are must haves for collectors. And, Valient is just fun - pigeons of the RAF unite against German hawks.
