Recommended WWII Links and Resources
Military Surplus Supplies
WWII Reproduction Uniforms and Equipment (some of these also sell originals, but for the most part, these are repros unless clearly stated.)
Hessen Military Antiques - an alternate source for some repros
For Summer Khaki Uniform Pants and Shirts, try Dickies original flat front work pants and shirts. At $20 for a pair of pants or shirt, they're great for getting dirty, and hard to tell from the originals - just make sure you remove the Dickies labels!!!!
www.copshoes.com - great place for look-alike US men's brown toe capped shoes, only $19.95. USAAF reenactors rave about these!!
If you've never visited, I highly recommend the following museums.
-
Women's Army Corps Museum, Ft. Lee, VA
-
Women's Military Memorial and Smithsonian Museums, Washington DC
